Pulsetto Med-tech R&D EU Funding

UAB « Pikotera » is proud to announce that we got the opportunity to elevate the functionality and quality of one of the most novel med-tech devices, Pulsetto, to new heights.

UAB « Pikotera » as a long term partner, contributes to the project implemented by UAB « Pulsetto » – « Pulsetto – Confirmation of the Safety and Effectiveness of the Vagus Nerve Stimulator During Clinical Trials. »

Project Goal: To confirm the safety and effectiveness of the vagus nerve stimulator during clinical trials.

Project Activities: During the project implementation, UAB « Pikotera » together with the project executor UAB « Pulsetto » will:

enhance the Pulsetto device
create prototypes
conduct clinical trials to confirm the device’s safety and effectiveness in alleviating stress and related conditions, as well as in suppressing migraine-induced pain and more.

During implementation, the project executor and partner UAB « Pikotera » aim to produce a pilot batch of the product, identify potential device deficiencies, and address them.

Project Outcome: Upon completion of the project by the partner UAB « Pikotera » and the project executor, an innovative and high-quality Pulsetto device will be developed, which will successfully compete in the market, be accessible to the public, and help improve the quality of everyday life by effectively combating stress and anxiety. The device will help not only to relax but also to control inflammatory responses in the body, manage food intake and feelings of satiety, improve sleep quality, and reduce fatigue. One of the desired project outcomes is to confirm the safety, effectiveness, and suitability of the Pulsetto vagus nerve stimulator during clinical trials for treating conditions such as migraines, depression, cluster headaches, and more.

SmartEcoNet R&D EU Funding

UAB Pikotera, together with UAB Lusety, is implementing the project “DEVELOPMENT OF A SMART SMARTECONET SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT OF URBAN ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY FOR SUSTAINABILITY AND EFFICIENCY”

The project will develop the SmartEcoNet system, a smart environmental monitoring platform designed to effectively identify and monitor pollution sources and their impact on the urban environment.

The system will use advanced sensors data analysis methods that allow for accurate and reliable measurement of air quality, acoustic noise and other environmental parameters.

SmartEcoNet will integrate this data to create an integral quality of life indicator that helps urban planners, healthcare professionals and residents better understand and manage environmental quality.

The system will be flexible and adaptable to various urban environments, providing relevant information in real time and contributing to sustainable urban development and improving the quality of life. The project is implemented under the Economic Transformation and Competitiveness Development Programme of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, the manager of the 2022–2030 development programme, Progress Measure No. 05-001-01-05-07 “Create a coherent system for promoting innovative activities” activity “Promote innovation supply” (Central and Western Lithuania).

EU fund funding amount 687,476 EUR.
The project is co-financed by the European Union.
The project was launched on 2 August 2024 and will be implemented by
2 February 2027.

UAB “Pikotera” is an electronics and mechatronics engineering company focused on the development of technical science solutions.

IoT wireless data gaathering

Distributed multi-point wireles data gathering system. The system can was applied for mid-to-long distance monitoring such as several quarters of the city. Data is being gathered to local stations with wireless communication and then transferred to the cloud based database. The processed data and devices status can be monitored through the dedicated graphic user interface.

VR interconnected platforms

The system is a low energy, battery powered embedded system integrated into devices to provide the data for interactive training. The system consists of wireless transceiver, motion sensors and data processing algorithm to provide the user with position tracking. Device communicates either with a dedicated mobile application for physiotherapist analysis or with virtual reality (VR) application for interactive gaming.

Data visualization

Planes trails and noise propagation visualization in the area of airports and city. System consists of wireless data gathering network, data processing and visualization algorithm to merge the calculated layers with the area maps.

Power monitoring systems

The power monitoring system is designed to be seamlessly integrated into different types of the manufacturing facility configurations. Information abou the consumed energy and power is gathered through wired network and, where it is required, through RF communications. Data is saved into database and provided to user in visual report or different types of exported files formats.

Collecte de données sans fil IdO

Système de collecte de données câblé multipoint distribué. Le système a été appliqué pour la surveillance à distance moyenne à longue, comme plusieurs quartiers de la ville. Les données sont collectées vers des stations locales avec communication sans fil, puis transférées vers la base de données basée sur le cloud. Les données traitées et l’état des appareils peuvent être surveillés via l’interface utilisateur graphique dédiée.

Plateformes interconnectées VR

Le système est un système intégré alimenté par batterie et à faible consommation d’énergie intégré aux appareils pour fournir les données nécessaires à une formation interactive. Le système comprend un émetteur-récepteur sans fil, des capteurs de mouvement et un algorithme de traitement des données pour fournir à l’utilisateur un suivi de position. L’appareil communique soit avec une application mobile dédiée pour l’analyse de physiothérapeutes, soit avec une application de réalité virtuelle (VR) pour les jeux interactifs.

Visualisation des données des capteurs

Plans d’avions et visualisation de la propagation du bruit dans le domaine des aéroports et de la ville. Le système comprend un réseau de collecte de données sans fil, des algorithmes de traitement et de visualisation des données.

Systèmes de surveillance de puissance

Le système de surveillance de l’alimentation est conçu pour s’intégrer de manière transparente dans différents types de configurations d’installation de fabrication. Les informations sur l’énergie et l’énergie consommées sont collectées via un réseau câblé et, le cas échéant, via des communications RF. Les données sont enregistrées dans la base de données et fournies à l’utilisateur dans un rapport visuel ou différents types de formats de fichiers exportés.
